1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty

Every TRIBE Apache is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date.

What is covered

TRIBE Pickleball warrants the Apache against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date. That includes things like structural cracks that originate in manufacturing, handle failure, delamination, core failure, and surface failure caused by a manufacturing defect rather than by play.

What is not covered

This is a manufacturing-defect warranty, so it does not cover damage or wear that comes from using the paddle. Specifically, it does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic wear
  • Surface texture or grit wear resulting from normal play
  • Scratches, scuffs, chips, dents or discoloration from use
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper storage, accidents or improper handling
  • Damage caused by impact with the ground, nets, fences, walls, other paddles or other objects
  • Damage caused by excessive heat, cold, moisture, or prolonged exposure to environmental conditions
  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations
  • Damage resulting from use outside the paddle’s intended purpose
  • Loss or theft

A note on surface texture. The graphene surface is designed to wear with play. That is normal for any textured paddle face and is not a defect, so it is not covered. Protective edge tape is permitted and encouraged, and applying it does not void this warranty.

Who it covers

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. We will ask for reasonable proof of purchase, such as your order number or receipt.

How to make a claim

  1. Email Jay@tribepickleball.co within the one-year period.
  2. Include your order number or proof of purchase, a description of the problem, and clear photographs showing the issue.
  3. We may ask for additional photographs or ask you to return the paddle so we can inspect it before approving a claim.

If your claim is approved

  • We will repair or replace the paddle, at our discretion.
  • If a replacement is not available, we will discuss the options with you directly.
  • TRIBE pays approved warranty shipping within the United States.
  • International customers are responsible for international warranty shipping.

Scope

This warranty runs for one year from the original purchase date and is the only warranty we provide on the product. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary depending on where you live. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

Looking after your Apache

The Apache is edgeless, which is deliberate and part of how it plays. As with any edgeless paddle, avoid striking the court, fences or your partner's paddle, and consider protective edge tape. Do not leave the paddle in a hot car or in standing water, and do not use a paddle that has developed a crack.
